Sunny Days

I have been loving the weather recently. It's been in the 50-60's when I leave work.

I love driving with the radio blaring and the windows down. It's oh so wonderful. It definitely brightens my mood.

We live right by a park and as soon as it warms up the park is always filled with people-- little kids and their parents, couples studying on blankets and girls laying out. You could say spring fever is just beginning.

I'm so glad the snow is gone and am hoping that there is not a random April snow storm.

Loving that it's the weekend and that I get time to spend with my man 😊

Valentines Day. The day we express our love to our spouse, family and friends.

This year I made Randy's lunch for him with heart shaped foods (sandwich, strawberries, fruit snacks, etc.) I then had my brother drop off a candy bar poster while he was at work. I think he liked the surprise... And I know he liked the candy.

Randy came home from work with dinner. He brought us pizza and a chick flick for a night in. We had a pizza picnic on our living room floor and then watched the vow. He also got me chocolate covered cinnamon bears and this..

It was a great day of love.

Randy left for Reno Wednesday morning at 5am and won't be back til late Saturday night. He is doing a competition with construction management. Its a great way to get experience and get your resume to different companies for internship opportunities.

With that being said this is the first time he has been away from me for longer than 48hrs and because he is busy he is not able to text and call me until its late at night (and i'm usually asleep and wake up to talk to him for a few minutes). Luckily work helps to keep my mind off him for most of the day.

Yesterday one of the sponsoring companies rented out the arcade in the casino so that the guys can go and play as much as they want for free. Well Randy sends me this picture...

He hit a jackpot on won of the games and won over 3,000 tickets and got some neat prizes. I believe he got a basketball and the nightmare before christmas themed yahtzee and maybe something else.(can't remember)

And while he is gone I get to watch as many chick flicks as I want-- one plus side :)
