blink of an eye

I don't know where tthe month of July went.

Seriously, it has come and gone in the blink of an eye...

Lets see if I can do a quick catch-up for you all.

Last week of June we celebrated my grandma's 80th birthday. She is an incredible woman! I look up to her and all she has accomplished thus far in her life. She is beautiful and always makes me feel special.

I got to hang out with my cousins who i haven't seen in a while.

I was privileged to go out shooting with the boys.

We got to eat the infamous oatmeal pancakes (oh so yummy)

My mother in law and her family came into town just in time for the fourth of July.
We enjoyed spending time with them, playing games, having a cook out, watching the parade and doing fireworks.

A great day in July was Cow Appreciation Day. I went to chick-fil-a two times that day. Once with my co-workers and then once with Randy.

Randy's cousin Jensen came home from his mission. Randy is very close with him and so we have been spending lots of time with him and his family. Its been great fun.

We enjoyed our Moapa Valley reunion with the extended family and had a fun time at camp williams with our close relatives.

we played games, chatted, swam, repelled, rock climbing wall, and laughed.

it was great having my family here for such a long time. Family Rocks!

Perfect date night

I planned the perfect, cutest date night last weekend.

We drove up to Salt Lake City. Stopped and ate Chipotle for dinner..so yum!

We went and shopped at City Creek. I spent some of my h&m gift card and bought some stripped shirts to add to my stripe collection.

We stopped at a target( my most favorite store) and got some treats and also found some Jazz t-shirts for cheap and a super cute skirt-- all of which I bought with a gift card I received from work ;)

Last, but definitely not least we went to the Redwood Drive-In theater. We good a good spot and watched Fast and Furious 6 and Iron Man 3 (it's a double feature)

Both movies were very entertaining and enjoyable!

It was such a fun night!!! (P.s-- my single brother tagged along as he had no plans that night ((it did not hinder the date)) and likes hanging out with us)

Memorial Day

Well I have not found time to write this post til now. As I am sitting in the airport with 5hours to kill (only because I weigh too much haha). But really the flight I was sitting on left without me. They made the non revs get off because of the the extreme heat and overweight plane. So now I have plenty of time to sit down and tell you about my Memorial Day!

Monday morning we all met at Charlene's house(my sister-in-law) for breakfast. I made my breakfast casserole and we have fruit and juice and it was very yummy. We also went to the Riverwoods splash pad and had fun watching my nieces play in the water.  We then went back to Charlene's so the girls could take a nap and just hung out. We went to Charlene's in-laws for a BBQ and also hiked up to a waterfall. 7/11 also had .49 slurpees all weekend so we made several trips there. All in all I was very pleased!

Because I'm writing this post on my phone I can't move the pictures around so here they all are at the bottom :)

one year.

Today is our anniversary.I can't believe we have already been married a whole year. This past year has been so wonderful! So many adventures that we have been on together and things that we were able to experience with one another.

We haven't really been able to celebrate this weekend, but will definitely do something fun to celebrate in the coming weeks.

My parents were in town for Stefan's graduation so I had my Dad take some pictures of us for our first anniversary. Enjoy!

Randy is the best and I'm looking forward to many more years together.
